For 11 years, the “Decentralized Dance Party” or “DDP” was a roaming street Party, created by using a portable FM radio transmitter to broadcast music out to hundreds of battery-powered boomboxes:
But with the dawning of the Pandemic, the DDP went virtual, resulting in a weekly Party event and the pledge that we would host these VDDPs
“Every Saturday Night Until The Entire World Is Partying Together”.
And we weren’t joking!
We’re now 30 Saturdays in and have cracked the code on how to turn the entire world into a dance floor. We just need everyone on the Zoom call to be Party Nodes out in the streets spreading the music to hundreds of Strangers!
Using our TOP SECRET new Party Revolution app, anyone can easily locate a or become a Node in the Party Network!

If you possess a Soundboks (the loudest portable speaker in the world) or a boombox or bluetooth speaker and want to help share the Party back into public spaces (while being extremely mindful to follow local Covid social DisDance regulations), please watch the videos below and tune into our Zoom broadcast on Saturday.
COVID GUIDELINES TO BE FOLLOWED IF YOU WANT TO PARTAKE:
Please ensure that all attendees adhere to the guidelines set out by your local health authorities in regards to COVID-19. We ask that you please embrace them as an act of kindness and shared responsibility.
• Request that nobody attend if they are feeling unwell at all or have any symptoms (cough, fatigue, sore throat)
• Sanitize your hands upon arrival and again before leaving (and ensure that you have enough sanitizer to share with anyone who joins)
• Request that everyone maintain 2m physical distance from each other throughout the duration of the Party unless they are within your own established social group
• Let people know that it’s ok to wear a face mask and to remember to bring one if it helps them to feel comfortable

The DDP app is just a simple web app. No downloads required, you just need to ensure that your GPS / “Location Services” is turned on in your phone’s privacy settings and that you give permission for your web browser to share your location.
So!
When you turn the app on, it will ONLY show you the other Parties in your vicinity. You have to hit the “Host a Party” button and then you will BECOME a Party Beacon and the Party audio will start to stream through your phone!
Please ensure that your phone doesn’t go into “lock mode” as this may disable the Party Beacon. Send the link below to allow your friends to stream the audio and find your roaming Party :)
